Well, sadly to say the dreaded writer's strike has happened. We don't blame them, they have gotten a pretty bad deal for too long. It does directly affect us though. This week was going to be canceled anyway due to the Blogger Conference in Las Vegas. There was just no one available to produce the show. Next week we will be out of town for the Thanksgiving week and would end up missing two weeks. Days has said that they shoot approximately 3 weeks in advance, so that means they should be running out of episodes by the end of November. That will not leave much for us to talk about.
We have not been happy overall with the performance of this podcast. We started off strong and got to more than 100 subscribers rather quickly, but new subscribers have dropped off dramatically. We are beginning to think that the soap audience is not as tech savvy as we might have thought. We spend a lot of time answering emails about what a podcast is.
We have decided to shut down. We might decide to start up once the writer's strike ends, but as of right now we are done.
Thank you to all of our devoted listeners and everyone who supported us. We actually had a lot of fun doing this, but it became a lot of work. We made no money doing it and it took a lot of time. Hopefully our favorite soap won't be off the air for too long.

I am also sad to see you go but understand why. I do hope you reconsider and that the show starts again soon. I just want you to know I loved listening to your show and hearing your opinions as they were often similar to mine or made me think even deeper about the topic. Hope to hear you again soon : )
As a tech savvy fan of Days. I find your comments and views on the crazy land of Salem refreshing.
I have to say when Stephano(Joseph) left, so did I.
Now with him back and after discovering this great podcast since episode 1.
I am surprised that you are thinking of stopping.
I would like to thank you, your mom and your guest host for all the time and effort you have put in.
In a selfish request, if you were to continue; a Stephano respective would be the greatness.
Just reminder, for all the great characters such as John, Hope, Bo, Roman, Marlena, the entire Brady and Horton clans needs someone to turn their world upside down.
Victor, Kate, Vivienne and Stephano have been great foils.
