I just listened to DOOLCast. I saw a link to it on a message board. I found your thoughts about the week's shows very interesting and a lot of your opinions were shared by me, so that was fun.
Things I enjoyed about the week:
1. Bo and Hope were fun and cute and endearing.
2. Steve was acting like Steve again. I LIKE it that we don't know for sure whose side he's on, though I do think he's on the Bradys' side. I just think he'd also like a little revenge against the DiMeras. So, even though he's on the Bradys' side, he also has his own agenda. He's looking for his chance to make them pay for the torture he endured and for losing all those years with Kayla and Stephanie.
3. The DiMeras being back has given this show a real shot in the arm. The writers are giving them some energy and some layers, which is nice to see. It seems like the writers are FINALLY getting it together now. It's a good thing. Hogan Sheffer's been on the job for almost a year now, so he should be figuring things out.
4. I've noticed a change in the overall MOOD of Days in the past couple of weeks. Before, the show was very dark and depressing. Not much love or laughter or joy or teasing. Hardly anyone seemed really HAPPY. Now, however, the cast seems to be having FUN and that translates to the screen.
Joy. Fun. Teasing. Laughter. Mystery. Adventure. Teamwork. Maybe some love and romance?
It works.
Thanks for the DOOLCast. It was fun listening.
